UMNO Grandpas And Young Voters
July 20, 2008 — Zubli ZainordinBegin To Notice So Many
Old Individual Leader
To Fill Up
Top 5 UMNO Posts
Who Was Kidding A Moment Ago
Can These Old And Useless
Fit The Views Of Young Voters
Some hope they each are not so sensitive when others noticing so many old people contesting for the top 5 posts in UMNO.
Earlier they are seniors. A part are vetaran. Amongst them are the juniors and the young.
But now, in 2008, they are really old and older at brain and heart. Grandpas, perhaps with grandmas along.
One after another begin to be a laughing stalk by the youngs and young at heart.
We know each their ages. Yes age does not matter for as long as they fit nicely with UMNO members of different ages. But the disparity is so obvious.
The speeches delivered either the old leaders sleeps or the audiences sleeping. In their communication each lack ideas and innovations. They each grow to become lousy leaders.
They each hold dear to dreams within a dreamy state, and are not concerned with reading, obtaining facts and figure, understanding the others aspirations, when opportunities to open a business is, these leaders hand over sweets for example, and what are worst they are already unable soon…
According to Liew Chin Tong as reported at the Malaysian Insider…
As of the March 8 general election, of the 10 million or so total registered voters on the electoral roll, around 5.7 million are Malays. Umno claims a membership of 3.2 million, of whom 2.8 million are voters.
Theoretically, so long as all Umno members vote for Barisan Nasional, with a small group of swing voters, the party would claim a majority. Of course in real life, the membership number may have been inflated and not all would vote for Umno.
But, more importantly, in this country which average age is 22 years old, there are 4 million Malays who have yet to register themselves on to the electoral roll. Eighty per cent of them are below thirty years old. And, 80 per cent of them are urbanites.
Further, many Malays who are voter in the kampung are actually living in urban area. They only return to the village when they retire, or during festive seasons, or once every five years when election is held.
As long as the Umno old timers are still clueless about urban politics and not knowing how to engage the youth, its demise is just a matter of time.
UMNO is dying and dead soon…
The God willing, let us see if a miracle can happen in between, else the result will be obvious…

July 18, 2008 at 8:56 am editHitam melambang kejahatan
Biru lambang kesetiaan
Menukar baju utk tujuan tertentu
tentulah melambangkan niat dan hala tuju
persoalannya apakah perbuatan itu perlu
atau perlukah mendahulukan peluru
dalam hanya keadaan sebegitu
manusia yang lemah dan sakit
seorang yang tidak bersenjata
tidak mungkin melakukan sebarang kekerasan….
apakah anggota keselamatan tidak mempunyai SOP
mustahil…
apakah mereka tidak terlatih?
mustahil…
apakah tujuan sebenar tindakan berkenaan?
apakah yg ingin ditunjukkan dari aksi ganas itu?
apakah yg mahu dijelaskan kepada rakyat?
mari kita tanya:
1. Adakah anwar pengganas merbahaya?
2. adakah beliau berpotensi bertindak liar terhadap pasukan keselamatan?
3. adakah langkah lain difikirkan sesuai dg kedudukan beliau sbg ahli politik dan bekas pemimpin no 2 negara
4. apakah kita ingin mengulangi peristiwa ‘black eye’?
