Some hope they each are not so sensitive when others noticing so many old people contesting for the top 5 posts in UMNO.

Earlier they are seniors. A part are vetaran. Amongst them are the juniors and the young.

But now, in 2008, they are really old and older at brain and heart. Grandpas, perhaps with grandmas along.

One after another begin to be a laughing stalk by the youngs and young at heart.

We know each their ages. Yes age does not matter for as long as they fit nicely with UMNO members of different ages. But the disparity is so obvious.

The speeches delivered either the old leaders sleeps or the audiences sleeping. In their communication each lack ideas and innovations. They each grow to become lousy leaders.

They each hold dear to dreams within a dreamy state, and are not concerned with reading, obtaining facts and figure, understanding the others aspirations, when opportunities to open a business is, these leaders hand over sweets for example, and what are worst they are already unable soon…

According to Liew Chin Tong as reported at the Malaysian Insider…

As of the March 8 general election, of the 10 million or so total registered voters on the electoral roll, around 5.7 million are Malays. Umno claims a membership of 3.2 million, of whom 2.8 million are voters.

Theoretically, so long as all Umno members vote for Barisan Nasional, with a small group of swing voters, the party would claim a majority.  Of course in real life, the membership number may have been inflated and not all would vote for Umno.

But, more importantly, in this country which average age is 22 years old, there are 4 million Malays who have yet to register themselves on to the electoral roll. Eighty per cent of them are below thirty years old. And, 80 per cent of them are urbanites.

Further, many Malays who are voter in the kampung are actually living in urban area. They only return to the village when they retire, or during festive seasons, or once every five years when election is held.

As long as the Umno old timers are still clueless about urban politics and not knowing how to engage the youth, its demise is just a matter of time.

UMNO is dying and dead soon…

The God willing, let us see if a miracle can happen in between, else the result will be obvious…

If Only Democracy Is Denied UMNO Will Remain Intact

The Question Is

Whether

The UMNO President And Deputy President Post

Remain As Now

Or Be Changed For The Future

Zubli Zainordin Avatar

Zubli Zainordin Avatar

There is a fear that if the UMNO President and Deputy President Chairs are contested in December 2008, UMNO will be divided and no longer wholesome.

But, is not the fear that UMNO will be divided and no longer wholesome, when the UMNO President and Deputy President Chair are not contested yet maintained?

So what shall it be?

No or Yes, for this contest for UMNO President and Deputy President posts?

Clearly Abdullah Ahmad Badawi prefers to be the President of UMNO.

While Mohd Najib Abdul Razak prefers to be the Deputy President of UMNO, and he also agree that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi remain as the President of UMNO.

There has been a confusion about the decision of the UMNO Supreme Council.

According to Mohd Ali Rustam, the UMNO Supreme Council has agreed that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi remains the President of UMNO and Mohd Najib Abdul Razak remains as the Deputy President of UMNO.

However, Muhammad Muhd Taib said that the two top posts can be contested. He is in favor of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Mohd Najib Abdul Razak remains are the President of UMNO and the Deputy President of UMNO respectively, as announced in support for UMNO Selangor Liason Chief.

Rafidah Aziz is quite vocal, and sounded Muhyiddin Yassin, as she supports Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as the President of UMNO and Mohd Najib Abdul Razak as the Deputy President of UMNO.

However, Muhyiddin Yassin said it is not the question of personal, but he has his reasons for voicing that the two top posts can be contested.

Similarly Hishammuddin Hussein also voicing that the two top posts can be contested as guaranteed in the constitution.

Mukhriz Mahathir is consistent and in agreement with Hishammuddin Hussein, that the two top posts must be contested. Mukhriz Mahathir added that the right to choose who is for the post must be respected. He said that the transition of leadership and the transfer of power is a separate item, and the contest for the two top post does not affect the plan to pass the Chair. The voice of 3.5 million members must be heard in order for UMNO to remain respectable. Mukhriz Mahathir also reminded that UMNO is divided after the Malaysian 12th General Election, and to unite UMNO, thus the two top posts must be contested.

Tengku Razaliegh Hamzah is contesting for the UMNO Presidency Chair, emphasized the need for UMNO members to vote too.

Whatever is the view of these leaders, the power now in in the hands of members and lower level leaders.

Ong Tee Keat Going For MCA President Chair

What Is The Message

MCA Presidents?

Ong Tee Keat, MCA vice-president on July 18th 2008 announced that he is going for the MCa Presidency Chair.

Ong Ka Ting is not seeking re-election.

Chua Soy Lek, and Chua Jui Meng are expected to fo the the MCA President Chair too.

So now Ong Tee Keat offered his service and volunteered himself for the party as the top leader, and soon he is releasing his roadmap that is not merely a declaration. It will be realisable and can be implemented.

Tee Keat declines

to disclose running mate in party polls

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA vice-president Datuk Ong Tee Keat, who is going for the presidency, is keeping mum on who will be his running mate in the party election in October.

Ong declined to reveal the candidate for the deputy president post and stressed that the important thing now was that he had offered his service and volunteered himself for the party.

“I am going to release my roadmap soon, which will not be just a mere declaration.

“Whatever things we map out, it should be realisable and can be implemented. This is more dear to my heart,” he told reporters after handing over aid to residents of Kampung Cheras Baru and Kampung Pandan Dalam here yesterday.

On Friday, Ong, 52, had disclosed that he would go for the president’s post since Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting is not seeking re-election.

“I have never made a decision based on whether someone is going for the post or not. I make my own decision,” he said when asked to comment on newspaper reports that former Health Ministers Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek and Datuk Chua Jui Meng were expected to go for the presidency.

I am wondering as to whether Ong Tee Keat’s road map, in direct into a merging with Gerakan. This way, there will be a reduced in the number of parties in Malaysia based on a single race.

In the next general election, such party can be no longer relevant, there is a need for a party of Malaysians for Malaysia.

In addition study the reasons of Tan Yee Kew who left MCA to join Parti KeADILan Rakyat, of Pakatan Rakyat.

The God willing, let us see what shall happen next…

Well, the reasonings can be good as substantiation, but…

Your NO Confidence Of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi As A Leader

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

Must Step Down Sooner

Must Step Down Now

Can Carry On Until 1st July 2010

Can Carry On Beyond 2010

Confidence Or NO Confidence

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

As President Of UMNO

Chairman Of Barisan Nasional

Prime Minister Of Malaysia

Zubli Zainordin Avatar

Zubli Zainordin Avatar

We do not know exactly whether Malaysians in Malaysia are having confidence or NO confidence of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as a leader. Whether Abdullah Ahmad Badawi must step down or carry on his leadership.

01. Mahathir Mohamad has openly stated that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi must step down since 9th of March 2008. Then, 19th June 2008, Mahathir Mohamad quits UMNO and shall return because he no longer is confident with Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as a leader.

02. Mukhriz Mahathir has written a letter and loudly urge Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to step down. Mukhriz Mahathir also is no longer confident with Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as a leader.

03. Yong Teck Lee and SAPP motion to a vote of NO confidence against Abdullah Ahmad Badawi preferably in Parliament.

04. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, lead a team within Pakatan Rakyat, to discuss NO confidence against Abdullah Ahmad Badawi preferably in Parliament.

05. UMNO Branch Kampung Ubai, does not nominate Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, instead Mohd Najib Abdul Razak as UMNO President.

06. Muhyiddin Yassin, and Rais Yatim are quite critical of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi leadership and talking about the transition of leadership and the transfer of power, the Chair.

07. Other leaders are saying it so nicely and the message is Abdullah Ahmad Badawi shall no longer sit on the Chair.

08. Some bloggers at their blogs incessantly ask Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to step down since 9th March 2008.

09. Malaysians are also sending signals through various media.

In response, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, informed that he will retire mid 2010 possibly 1st June 2010. A transition of leadership and a transfer of power, the Chair, to Mohd Najib Abdul Razak.

Knowing Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, he does not have to announce this retirement. He can as usual keep us guessing, and carry on for as long as he wishes. But he did announced this, probably because he sense others as restless. For him, the best move is to buy time.

However, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi knows that all these that led to the announcement of retirement has to do with him as a leader, and his leadership in relations to others’ NO confidence.

The announcement, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is leaving the Chair, as reported:

01. Received a standing ovation by 191 delegates of UMNO leaders from all wings.

02. There has been so little is any of those who immediately ask, urge, or demanded Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to retract.

03. Generally leaders of Barisan Nasional component was not shocked and did not voice on the contrary.

So the message is clear, that it is allright that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi goes for a retirement. The only point of concern is that from the date of announcement to 1st Of July 2010, is too long a period.

So now it is easy to know the confidence or NO confidence against Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as a leader, and his leadership.

These include, within UMNO, the coalition, the party, members of Parliament from Pakatan Rakyat, the Malaysians, and also USA and Japan administration.

So given this information, the retirement plan is with the assumption that after December 2008, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Mohd Najib Abdul Razak remain as the President and Deputy President of UMNO.

When any other leaders contesting and win, it will be a different story.

The God willing, more update soon…

UMNO And Change

What Is This Change

And

What Is The Outcome Of No Change

Is UMNO Dying And Dead Soon

Or Be Revived And Reformed

Depends On The Sincerity For Change

Zubli Zainordin Avatar

Zubli Zainordin Avatar

Is there a statistics of UMNO members and the outcome of the Malaysian 12th General Assembly? Or a close estimate so that we can understand what is going to happen on the 19th of December 2008!

UMNO General Assembly Elections.

At this moment, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi prefers to stay as the President of UMNO.

We are seeing that efforts are made since, and more soon, so that this preference is a reality. Especially, by those who shall benefit when Abdullah Ahmad Badawi stays sitting on the UMNO President’s Chair.

Based on the information, there are at least 3 other leaders who can frustrate these efforts, and change will occur in UMNO, in relations to Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s presidency in UMNO.

01. Anwar Ibrahim

Moving clearly, and smoothly toward becoming the sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia, thus UMNO is exchanged with Parti KeADILan Rakyat in terms of power, and Pakatan Rakyat will be the new government, changing places with Barisan Nasional.

02. Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah

Gaining momentum with new ways for a better Malaysian economy, and more, offering a leadership to replace Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Thus changes in UMNO.

03. Mohd Najib Abdul Razak

Made an indication to be open for nomination on either the top or second top UMNO presidency posts. When there are enough nominations, he will contest, and when he wins, then there will be changes in UMNO.

A surprise for those who are not aware, is another individual leader.

04. Muhyiddin Yassin

He has been critical, speaks quite openly yet subtly about the transition of leadership, and transfer of power from Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, and he will contest to fill for Deputy President of UMNO post. Thus, a new team for a change to take place in UMNO.

Other than these individual leaders, what can be magic or miracle, an individual in UMNO to contest for the UMNO presidency post for change.

It is clear that, the main point is that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, will be ensured by some who are doing work either for him or with him. The idea is, by ensuring Abdullah Ahmad Badawi remain as the President of UMNO, then Abdullah Ahmad Badawi can proceed to implement changes in UMNO.

So who ever is the next leader, the now or the new one, changes is the very point needed to be implemented.

Between the individual leader who is in power, and the individual leader who is seeking power, each knows that the power now is belonging to UMNO members, and lower level leaders.

These UMNO members as a whole, are those who are related to the outcome of the Malaysian 12th General Election.

Some might continue to be the same, or somewhat changed, due to the events after the Malaysian 12th General Election.

01. Those who have been loyal to Abdullah Ahmad Badawi belief that this leader must stay on to proceed the necessary change in UMNO. The number can increase or decrease now.

02. Those who have been loyal to Mohd Najib Abdul Razak belief that now is the time for this leader to be the President of UMNO. While the number can remain, there can be changes with respect to allowing Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Mohd Najib Abdul Razak remain as they are, awaiting for the agreed upon transition of leadership and transfer of power. Or a reduce in number by those who no longer prefer both of these leaders.

03. Those who see Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah a come back, will increase in the number of loyalty, or a reduce in number by those feeling that he has no hope.

04. Those who are loyal to Muhyiddin Yassin still awaiting as to whether this leader will contest for the President of UMNO, the Deputy President of UMNO, or remain as one of the Vice President of UMNO.

05. UMNO members who now see Anwar Ibrahim, Parti KeADILan Rakyat, Pakatan Rakyat, given votes to him and his party and his coalition, will proceed, even if this is seen as an internal sabotage, is just right for them being fed up and wanting to send a clear message to the existing leaders their unsatisfactions.

06. Those who are loyal to Mahathir Mohamad, including loyal to Sanusi Junid, are following and out of UMNO, and going to be out of UMNO. There will be an increasing number, the same figure, or a reduce in number.

07. Other possibilities…

What is important though are:

01. Change in leader and leadership within UMNO,

02. Change in the structure, structural or organizational structural change within UMNO,

03. Change in the substance, operations, and implementations, in UMNO,

04. Change in a return to UMNO’s originality and identity,

05. Change in performance and benefits amongst members of UMNO,

06. Other possible changes good for UMNO and her members.

What if UMNO does not change, or change a bit only?

Then the obvious will happen!

I begin to wonder whether the Abdullah Ahmad Badawi government can handle this Anwar Ibrahim Sodomy Allegation.

Mahathir Mohamad sounded the same, in wanting to see how the government handles this…

Most recently, Anwar Ibrahim telling us…

Anwar: I was stripped naked and measured

UPDATE 2

By Wan Hamidi Hamid

KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 — Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was stripped naked, had his private parts examined and some other body parts measured during a medical check-up at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital last night.

Details and More Here:

http://themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/headlines/42-lead-stories/1917-anwar-i-was-stripped-naked-and-measured

It is shocking because it can be shameful. What more when the specimen given as a sample of DNA, people are wondering how it is done.

Soon after, a denial…

Hospital director: Anwar not made to strip naked

KUALA LUMPUR, July 19 — Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was never asked to strip naked for his medical examination at the Kuala Lumpur hospital (HKL) last Wednesday night.HKL director Datuk Dr Zaininah Mohd Zain, in a statement today, said two medical experts had explained in detail the medical examination procedures to Anwar who was accompanied by his lawyers.“The medical examination was conducted by the two specialists only after receiving a written consent from Datuk Seri Anwar,” she said.

She added that Anwar, who was examined according to certain clinical procedures, was never violated at any time during the process.

Anwar had claimed that he was stripped naked and his private parts examined when he was at the HKL that night after he was arrested by the police during the day.

He was brought to the hospital to get a DNA sample pertaining to the allegation of sodomy against him by his former aide 23-year-old Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.

Anwar however refused to provide the sample, citing that he was worried with the possibility of the authorities tampering and fabricating evidence.

A decade ago Anwar was charged in court with a similar allegation but was acquitted.

Isn’t this surprising?

If there is a case and be brought to court, as to whether who is telling th truth, between Anwar Ibrahim, his lawyer, the medical examiners, and the Director of Hospital, a question mark has already been placed.

A conspiracy?

Yes

or

No?

Meanwhile, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who stays on with some growing number who are not confidence of him, is wrestling to convince internal and international concerned…

Abdullah also guaranteed Anwar’s safety in facing investigations into the sodomy allegation and urged him to allow the authorities to take a sample for DNA test.

Abdullah said no one should believe there was a conspiracy against Anwar although he could not stop the international perception that this was happening.

Zubli Zainordin AvatarZubli Zainordin,

We see that The Chair is about power. This power is related to authority. This authority is about responsibility. This responsibility is an answerable position to being in accountability. This accountability is supported by pillars of principle, ethics, moral, justice, fairness, and other virtues. These virtues can be pure when those sitting on the Chair are with intention, purpose, and willingness to serve. In this country, to serve Malaysians and Malaysia.

Please observe that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is now sitting on the Chair. Yes, believe it or not, he has power. This power makes him in a position strong. Yet, these strength can surely be shared or presume be sharing by his spouse, his children, his son in law, his family, his family members, his friends, his loyalists, and his supporters.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi cannot be sitting on the Chair forever. In fact he has overstayed since 9th of March 2008. He is on buying time, I say, perhaps until 1st July 2010. His doing so because the leadership nature of Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, and other leaders in UMNO and Barisan Nasional who are somehow linking or clinging directly or indirectly to the one sitting on the Chair.

Unless there are individuals amongst these who are true to serving Malaysians and Malaysia, then these are potentials to proceed even if Abdullah Ahmad Badawi really goes. Remember, the standing ovation? Yes! It is preferred that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, goes, step down, resign, or retire.

Now, please observe, others are in a possible position that “If Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, he goes, these others, we will go too”.

It is quite a normal practice, a new leader is with a new set of team. If wise, this team can be representative, yet there shall always be a new order in the individuals and its representations.

Our concern then is, when Abdullah Ahmad Badawi goes, and his team goes, a need for an observation is, whether that these team is “Lets say this and do that”.

Do you remember why Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is buying time until 1st July 2010?

We will check on these, whether each are being carried out and done.

Interestingly these are, what are being said. We will continue to observe what are being done while Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is sitting on the Chair, and others are benefiting from this sitting by Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

I praise the Lord, there is the internet, there are electronic mails, blog portals, and bloggers who are sincere in the sense that one thing is not right, they say this is wrong; and also one this is right, the say this is right.

I found these information are interesting readings for a start.

US Administration Individuals Alerting Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

How Does One Feel

When The Prime Minister Of Malaysia

Gets Pointing From

USA Administration Individuals

Zubli Zainordin AvatarZubli Zainordin,

Yes, it is about Anwar Ibrahim. People can say that Anwar Ibrahim is an agent of the US or a snitch, or whatever is similar, but it is not all about Anwar Ibrahim is it? Some sense it is also about Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

How can a small shot can point fingures to a Prime Minister Of Malaysia?

Earlier it was US State Department spokesman Tom Casey who had asked Malaysia to keep politics and the legal system separate, saying that “we (US) will certainly oppose any use of law enforcement or judicial procedures for anything other than legitimate purposes of the law.”

He further said Anwar had had a previous conviction on sodomy charges overturned and hoped that there would not be a “pattern here”.

And most recently…

The Malaysian Insider reports…

US senator urges KL to ‘drop this political attack’ on Anwar

WASHINGTON, DC, July 18 — United States Senator Joseph Biden Jr today called on Kuala Lumpur not to repeat the mistakes of the past in prosecuting opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, urging the Prime Minister “to drop this political attack on a respected opposition figure”.

Details and more at the Malaysian Insider…

I sense a stronger Prime Minister Of Malaysia will free Malaysia from any outside interference, including the USA. It has been our country’s policy not to meddle in other country’s affairs, as much as we do not want other nations to meddle in our internal affairs.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi must stand firm. Else, people might be wondering how many times he went to see George W Bush, why, and what matters were discussed…
