She Is A Fine Individual Performing With Purpose

I do not see a woman as a second class citizen, anywhere. I see each with an equal opportunity to serve a nation and her people side by side with men.

During my lifespan, I have seen women in many parts of the globe struggling with mooting their emancipation, with aspirations and inspirations.

In Malaysia, women are into leadership, and sitting on a Chair so nice that each of them deserved. There are names we still remember, amongst those who are respectable politicians. Individual such as Aishah Ghani.

After a while, we continue to be searching for more than one.

Since the Malaysian 12th General Election I begin to observe Nurul Izzah Anwar. I am surprised she defeated a more experienced candidate from the Barisan Nasional, for the Lembah Pantai Parliamentary seat.

I also found that she is at Facebook. I click to add her as a friend.

I place a comment at her blog too.

Nothing happens.

Can she be just like the others, or rather one who really says what she means and means what she says.

Next, I am back to other areas of my focus.

A moment ago, quite nice, she accepted my friendship at Facebook. I responded and also place comments at her blog.

Her maiden presentation in Parliament:

iNTERESTING…and yes, as you say, lets see what happens.I think that women EVERYWHERE need to play prominent public roles…how else will society be well balanced?? But we are so far from that ideals…still, small steps could become a huge journey !!
    Thanks Zubli :)

Yes Jesse, I agree totally. We are seeing small steps forward, is so much better than a halt or a step backward. In our country the stride has been big to huge. Nurul Izzah’s mother Wan Azizah Wan Ismail is now the top leader on the other side of the bench facing the ruling government. More, there are more. These and more, are reasons for our gladness. Women are already playing prominent public roles…
