Barisan Nasional Lost A Number Of States
May 13, 2008 — Zubli ZainordinThe Barisan Nasional Top Chair
Barisan Nasional did not obtain a two-third majority in the Malaysian 12th General Election, on the 8th Of March 2008.
While failing to recapturing Kelantan, Barisan Nasional lost in Penang, Kedah, Perak, and Selangor.
In addition, a poor showing in other states.
This is the message, and the message is clear.
This is the outcome of the result, and thus it is normal to look directly at the one sitting on the Top Chair of Barisan Nasional. The Chairman!
Yes, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Yet, what naturally should happen, did not happen. Until now Abdullah Ahmad Badawi remains.
The possibility of a transfer of power, the Chair, in a smooth transition, seem not going to happen in the near future, perhaps after or long after the UMNO General Election in December 2008.
The concern is given that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi unable to read the message totally, the people and the country can possibly experience a situation away from the best solution.
